The Steak Drop
What would happen if you dropped an eight ounce steak from the atmosphere?
When you drop a steak of this size from 70 kilometers (roughly 44 miles) the steak will go fast enough to be briefly blasted by 350 degree air.
Since there is no atmosphere in space, when reentering our own atmosphere the object will heat up and most likely catch fire.
So that leads us to the final answer, what would happen if you dropped a steak from the atmosphere? Well, if you like your steak Pittsburgh rare, then dig in when it hits the ground, because the inside will be raw and the outside more than likely to charred to eat.
