-Began by doing short events I saw posted around campus
Overview
-Live Nation is the Largest Live Entertainment Company in the world.
Future Career Plan
-The company's primary focus is concert promotions, seeking to innovate and enhance the live entertainment experience for artists and fans before, during and after the show.
-Currently Live Nation owns, operates and/or exclusively books 135 venues, including 43 in Europe.
-In 2009, Live Nation sold 140 million tickets, promoted 21,000 concerts, partnered with 850 sponsors and averaged 25 million unique monthly users of its e-commerce sites.
-Had Wendy Hultsman as a professor and started receiving her e-mail blasts.
-Worked a 3 month internship at Stonebridge Manor
-Finally saw e-mail from Wendy that caught my attention
Premium Seat Sales: work primarily with the VIPs, those who buy box and suite tickets, many being seasonal clients.
-Work with VIP Websites
- Develop "Day of Show" information and other communication materials for the VIPs
-Coordinate ticket orders and tracking
-Create and help manage informational media kits for potential clientele
-Assist in mailings to existing and potential clientele
- Assist in various aspects of the planning for "Day of Show" activities
This internship has exposed me to the world of entertainment. I have gained marketing, sales, communication and social media skills and techniques that will be beneficial for my future career.

This internship is ideal for those interested in the music/entertainment business.
Throughout your time with Live Nation you will gain marketing, communication and time management skills as well as insight of the music/entertainment industry today.
At this point I am interested in pursuing a career with Live Nation however, there are no current openings here locally. Relocating is not something I am able to do right now but have a list of contacts within the Phoenix area to gain more experience in the entertainment industry. Also, I have continued to strengthen relationships from previous internships and jobs that will allow me opportunities within the industry.
