Samples of School Work
In my past school years I could have done better keeping my grades up, but this year I've worked harder at it and have A's and B's in all but one class. I'm hoping to end this year with all A's and B's.
I have several goals to help me reach my desired career. I need to take culinary arts by the end of my senior year of high school. After that i hope to go to Ivy Tech for the culinary program. Then apply for an apprenticeship under a master chef. Then I wanna get hired on as a chef at least a 4 star restaurant. Then I'll see where it goes from there.
I think I am qualified to be a chef because I have a lot of experience cooking. I have a passion and love for cooking. I personally feel like I’m a good cook. Once I get a bit more training in culinary arts I have no doubt that I will be able to succeed in the profession of a sous chef well.
Job Description: Sous Chef (cook)
Duties and Responsibilities: Work as a cook fixing meals for people, preparing food, and cleaning.
Working Conditions: Chefs work in the kitchens of restaurants, hotels, casino, factories, or private homes.
Entry-level Position: Busboy or sous chef (if possessing a degree)

Ever since I made my first dish with my uncle I have been fascinated by cooking. I love making food and trying out new flavors by testing out different spices with different foods. I normally cook at least two meals a week for my family. I enjoy cooking for them because its good practice and they always give me honest feedback on how my food tastes.
