Masada
The cliffs on the east edge of Masada are about 1,300 feet high and the cliffs on the west are about 300 feet high. Its located on the edge of the Judean Desert, overlooking the Dead Sea. You can hike the mountin and it is a huge accomplishment to make it to the top.

Dead Sea
The Dead Sea is about 400 meters below sea level. It's the lowest point on earth in any land mass. It's called the Dead Sea because the amount of salt in it prevents any life from living in it. The same salt though provides relief to the visitors.
