The Case of Billy Moore

Based on the Real Case of Lewis Blackman

Billy Moore is a 15 year old boy that is admitted to Michigan General Hospital to undergo a procedure to correct a pectus excavatum, a chest wall deformity that is congenital in nature. Rather than having a more complicated procedure that involves the removal of the ribs and cartilage, the parents of Billy Moore elect to have a new operation that is deemed less invasive, involving only two small incisions. The operation is considered safer, and usually only takes 45 minutes to an hour to complete.
