Science as a Human Endeavour
The human body has been created by God for purposes of smelling, hearing, seeing, feeling and tasting
There is beauty to be seen throughout the world
God not only instructed us to care for the environment in Genesis but caring for the environment and living things is important because if we don't then we won't be able to they won't survive.
Learning about living things and the environments equips us to take the best of the environment that we can.
Everything we see, feel, smell, hear and taste is intricately designed and thought about. It is important we take time to appreciate and acknowledge how amazing everything is.
There is pattern, order and unique designs to all things created. We have been given the abilities to search out answers and solve mysteries.

problem to work through (usually as a team
guided by a tutor). Being more student centred
rather than teacher,
learning is more effective.'

Scholastic Magic Schoolbus

www.scholastic.com/magicschoolbus/tv/index.htm
Order a chicken farm. Children can watch the eggs hatch and then watch the chicks grow.
Students can also create
their own garden. This not
only enables them to watch
something grow but teaches
them values such as
caring for the environment.
