TIFF is usually the best quality output for a digital camera. How ever, the file size is huge compared to even the best JPG setting, and the advantages may not be noticeable.

JPG is the format of choice for nearly all photographs on the web. You can achieve excellent quality even at rather high compression settings, you can also use JPG as the superior format for nearly all of your digital photos.
GIF must be an image that has less than 256 colors in it in order to make it a GIF , otherwise it will not work properly. The files will be small but they will also be perfect. DO NOT use GIF for photographic images since it can contain only 256 colors per image.
PNG is is of principal value in two applications:
1.) An image with large areas of exactly uniform color, but contains more than 256 colors.
2.) A photograph exactly without loss on the web, later generation web browsers support PNG. PNG is the only loss less format that web browsers support.
Although RAW is loss less, it is a factor of three or four smaller than TIFF files of the same image. The only problem with it is, there is a different RAW format for each manufacturer and you would have to use the manufacture's software in order to view the image.
graphic designer, art director, entertainment, sports are good choices for graphic designers .
Serif and Sans-Serif
Serif fonts are usually easier to read in printed works than sans-serif fonts.

Times New Roman is a commonly used serif font.

Lower resolution in print makes smaller serif characters harder to read than the equivalent sans-serif characters because of their more complex shapes.

Arial is a commonly used sans-serif font.
Difference between Serif and Sans-Serif
The small decorative flourishes at the ends of the strokes in the left character are called serif.
employers expect candidates to have advanced knowledge of software programs used for illustration and video editing.
The right character does not have these decorative lines and is said to be a sans-serif font. (Sans is the French word for without.)
With technology and media constantly changing, designers need to stay current on developments in their field. Graduate certificate programs or continuing education courses in areas like 3-D animation and digital video .
