Moderate stage (Early onset)

not being able to do multiple steps
lack of concern
Severe stage(Late onset)
unable to recognise self
inability to communicate
lack of control for bowel and bladder
groaning,moaning, or grunting
Most likely be diagnosed with dementia (the lost of functioning, thinking, remembering, and reasoning)
named after Dr. Alzheimer in 1906
Damage starts a decade or more before problems become evident

Early Signs
memory problems are usually first sign of alzheimers
Behavioral symptoms include:
can be definitively diagnosed only after death by linking clinical measures
Sampling from the brain tissue and pathology in an autopsy
ask questions about overall heath, past medical problems, ability to carry out daily activities,and changes in
behavior and personality
conduct tests of memory, problem solving, attention, counting, and language
standard medical tests, blood and urine tests to identify other possible causes of the problem
Perform brain scans, such as computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), to
distinguish alzheimers from other possible causes for symptoms, like stroke or tumor
Decline in other aspects such as word-finding, vision,impaired reasoning, and judgement
people with memory problems have a condition called amnestic MCI
