More than 400 feature-length film and TV versions of William Shakespeare's plays have been produced
Shakespeare is the most filmed author ever in any language.
Some movies are faithful to the original story and text, while others are adaptations

Shakespeare has become a great source of material for filmmakers.

An Italian film where the inmates of Rebibbia Prison put on a production of the play.
The film is not a direct adaptation of Shakespeare’s play but it is very interesting to see their interpretation of Shakespeare’s text
Caesar Must Die, 2012
The tragedy of Julius Caesar is a really interesting tragedy which was written by William Shakespeare in the 44th B.C.
Julius Caesar plays have been showcased world wide many times and have got an extremely remarkable response .
The most famous interpretations of Julius Caesar in modern times are:
Famous Winter Garden Performance
1864:Junior Edwin and John Wilkes who was later the assassin of the American president Abraham Lincoln played the roles of Julius Caesar and Brutus in the Winter Garden in New York .This was a blockbuster performance.
Beach Wood Canyon Hollywood Performance
1961:A one day performance with an audience of nearly 40,000 people was held at the beach wood Canyon in Hollywood. This was one of the most celebrated and viewed performance in history.
Julius Caesar Modern Day on stage Adaptation
Hollywood Bowl Performance
1926:This was an elaborate Julius Caesar performance which was staged for the actors fund of America at the Hollywood Bowl.This event was mainly held to create work for unemployed actors.
1994 : In the Shakespeares drama festival which was held in Assam Arvind Gaur directed the play Julius Caesar with the film stars Jamini Kumar and Deep Ochani.This was the first Shakespeare play to be showcased in India.
2012: The Royal Shakespeare Company presented a Julius Caesar production under the direction of famous director Gregory Horan. This play was a hit and had an audience of approximately 35,000 people.

2012:This was an all female Shakespeare production of the tragedy of Julius Caesar. In this play Harriet Walter starred as Brutus and Frances Barber as Caesar.
Julius Caesar was a great play written by the master play write William Shakespeare. We positively believe that it is good that modern directors and actors are showcasing the Tragedy Of Julius Caesar as with that people get to know more about Old English language and how stories and culture was earlier. We get to know a lot about Shakespeare and how writers were earlier. With these interpretations people can also differentiate between the olden era and modern times. We believe that it is great to have modern interpretations of olden time literature pieces and plays.

The Canadian comedy duo Wayne and Shuster parodied Julius Caesar.

The 1960 film is a modern reworking of the play.
When the company announces its intention to merge with Pompeii Shipping Line, one of its directors, R Cassius (Douglas Wilmer), organizes a secret meeting to denounce Caesar and demand his resignation. After much badgering he manages to convince the one honest director remaining on the board, Brutus Smith (Norman Wooland), to vote against Caesar - with tragic consequences.
