I’m also a member of the Texas Nurse Association and the goal is to Educate, Advocate and Nurture in coming Nurses. I’m also a volunteer at Star of Hope it is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.

I work in a environment were everyone loves to
provide care for our soldiers that fought for our
country. It can be a little stressful sometimes but
I just think about why I do it and it puts a smile
on my face.
My Work Environment
The clothing that is required to wear as a Registered Nurse is purple scrubs, black shoes, face mask, hair net and gloves when assisting patients.
I’m a Registered Nurse I work at the VA Hospital
Downtown Houston. I’m a Assistant Nurse Manager on
the Medicine Floor, I oversee 26 patients beds providing
adequate staffing and leadership for the unit. I received
my Master’s Degree in Health Care System Management
in January 2016 at Prairie View University. My salary is
currently 90,000 per year.
My Occupation
I’m a quiet, gentle and caring person. I’m a good listener and great observer. I’m very loyal to people I meet. I’m a down-to-earth person and very dependable. I also have a son and husband that I will love for eternity.
