Earthquakes can happen anywhere or anytime! Make sure you know what to do!
This energy moves in seismic waves and can be measured by a seismograph
The higher the number the more intense the energy release was within the Earth
Earthquakes are measured by their magnitude on two scales: the Richter Scale or the Moment Magnitude Scale
How do they work?
Earthquakes are caused when energy is released inside the Earth's crust!
What are earthquakes?
Where do they happen?
How do we prepare for them in our community?
