How to Make Delicious
Pumpkin Bars Ingredients for Bars: 2 C. All Purpose Flour(or 1 C. All Purpose Flour and 1 C. Whole Wheat Flour 1 1/2 C. Firmly Packed Brown Sugar 2 t. Baking Powder 1 t. Baking Soda 1 t. Cinnamon 1/2 t. Nutmeg 1/2 t. Cloves 1/4 t. Salt 1/2 C. Oil 1/2 C. Apple Juice 1 16oz. Can Pumpkin 2 Eggs or 1/2 C. Egg Substitute Ingredients for frosting: 1 1/2 C. Powdered Sugar 2 T. Softened Butter or Margarine 1/2 t. Vanilla 2-3 T. Plain Yogurt Instructions For Pumpkin Bars: 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. 2. Spray 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan with baking spray. 3. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. 4. In large bowl, beat all bar ingredients at low speed until moistened. 5. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. 6. Spread in prepared pan 7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Instructions For Frosting: 1. In medium bowl, combine all frosting ingredients, adding enough yogurt for desired spreading consistency; beat until smooth. 2. Frost cooled bars; sprinkle with nutmeg if desired. 3. Refrigerate to set frosting; cut into bars ENJOY!
