Now that you're in Edmodo, you need to join your school group. To do this, click on "Join" in the Groups area of Edmodo (left sidebar). Edmodo will prompt you for a code. If you do not have your code, we have it for you. Create a Group What is Edmodo? Edmodo is an educational site built on the ideas of a social network but made appropriate for a classroom. Using Edmodo allows students and teachers to connect by sharing ideas, problems and helpful tips. It is a safe environment within the RCS "umbrella". There can be no bullying or inappropriate content, because the teacher can see everything that is posted on Edmodo and has full control on the page. EDMODO Settings Click on "create" in the Groups choice on the left sidebar. A new window will pop up prompting you to name your group and assign the grade level. After you have created your group, Edmodo will post the group code to your homepage. This is the code you give to your students to allow them to join your group. Under "Account" (top-right) you can change your settings. Pretty basic. You can change your profile picture by choosing one from Edmodo or uploading your own. You can also change other personal information. Invite!
