The name “CHAI” comes from an Asian tea that blends many flavors into a harmonious whole, illustrating the brand’s central concept: the mix of East, West, culture, tradition, modernity and surprises.
CHAI Living opened its first project in Shanghai, China in the Embankment Building 1935, a true Art Deco landmark. Through the ages, the more subtle Embankment Building fell into the passing shadows of time. Today, CHAI Living breathes new life into the Embankment Building, introducing unexpected concepts that blend creativity, culture, and sophistication with the building’s unique legacy.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
•To provide support in research and market analysis for the different business lines

•To develop a Competitive Analysis of all business lines explore and stay abreast of competition in an attempt to find and maintain a competitive edge

•To screen the brand on the web and on our partners websites

•To assist in the preparation of marketing collaterals

•To provide support with Marketing related activities
•To maintain a sales client data base

•To assist with compiling month end reports and other financial statements

•To propose solutions for the distribution improvement new channels and markets for distribution

•To find ways to sell more products/services to new and existing customers by adjusting current systems and marketing approaches

•To pitch new clients and present to them CHAI Living

•To expand the scope of your business resources and linkages, e.g., alliances, licenses, acquisitions, partnerships
•To update the Company’s website and online marketing platforms such as FB, twitter, We chat and others

•To follow up with requests from media

•To prepare weekly and yearly Newsletters
Skills & Requirements
•Pursuing Degree or Fresh Graduate in International Business or Hospitality Management

•Native English speaker, Mandarin is a plus

•Past experience in the hospitality industry

•Working knowledge of hotel asset fundamentals, lodging industry and exhibit the desire and ability to learn while adding value to team initiatives

•Excellent communications and interpersonal skills

•Methodical, meticulous, enthusiastic and straightforward

•Open minded with creative, fun and innovative spirit to develop exceptional ideas!

•Yes I Can! Attitude

•Proficiency in MS Office (i.e, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required

•Ability to meet multiple project deadlines and conduct general administrative tasks

•Demonstrated Team Building Skills
