A2 Childhood O.J. Simpson Trial Marriage and Life Football Career Significance Growing up he was in a member in a gang called, the Persian Warriors
His parents were separated leaving him to live with his mom and siblings. Played for the USC Trojans setting NCAA records and won the Heisman Trophy The huge significance is even still today "whites still think that he is guilty and the "blacks" still think he is not guilty. Born: July 9, 1947 in San Francisco, California to Jimmy Lee and Eunice Simpson
Siblings: Melvin Leon,Caremelita, Shirley Orenthal James Simpson At the age of two he contracted Rickets, a disorder caused by a lack of vitamin D,calcium,or phosphate. This leads to the softening and weakening of the bones. Teenage Years Simpson joined the professional Buffalo Bills in 1969, but didn't really show much until he showcased his running. Later played for the 49ers O.J. married Marguerite L. Whitley and had 3 children. While still married to Marguerite he met a waitress, Nicole Brown and quickly fell in love On June 12,1994 Nicole Brown Simpson and former friend Ronald Goldman were found stabbed to death outside of her house For 21 months the world watched the O.J. Smpson Trial Verdict : Not Guilty "It was the trial of the Century" Simpson later writes a book, "If I did it", a hypothetical book about if he killed Nicole. In December, 2008 he was sentenced to a prison term of 33 years without the possibility of parole for 9 years, related to an armed robbery in 2007 (he was charged with other crimes as well, including kidnapping.) Nickname: "The Juice"
