In Rome and Naples it only briefly snows once every several years.
Pizza was invented by the Naples around the 1860's.
Pizza is one of the few words that is understood all over the world.
Almost 20% of Italy's population is over 65 years old.
The thermometer is an Italian invention.
The famous children's story,Pinocchio was written by an Italian.
