How to prepare
All of the cities that have or are most likely to get hit with tsunamis, will put up special tsunami sirens to warn people a tsunami is or may be coming.

Warning systems measuring water pressure send alerts when a tsunami wave passes and sends it to the sirens.
Also build a tall and sturdy house so you can go up somewhere higher and safer.
