The planets
By Gianna Polifroni

Saturn is clearly visible in the night sky
Material in the rings ranges in size from a few micrometers to several tens of meters
Saturn's rings are mostly made of ice and water
Fast winds in the upper atmosphere combined with rising heat cause the planet's yellow and gold banding
When approached from afar, fantastic striped atmosphere reveals
The Red spot is region of extra ordinarily complex and variable wave motion
Jupiter's red spot is really a big storm
Largest planet in the sky
Mercury is covered with craters
So close to the sun,it's heavy createrd surface can reach 801
there is no atmosphere to trap the heat,at night time it gets -279
second smallest planet in the solar system
a ''sister" planet to Earth that is very different from our home
does not have any moons
its pretty much the same temperature all year round...HOT
Venus is not tilted on it's axis
only planet known to support life and have liquid water at the surface
the 4 seasons are a result of Earth's axis of rotation being tilted more than 23 degrees
Earth is a complex system of air, water, and land
Earth was formed about 4.5 billion years ago
Uranus is covered with clouds
atmosphere is mostly composed of one thing, methane
just barley visible with a naked eye on a very clear night night
fairly easy to spot with binoculars (if you know exactly were to look)
Neptune's largest moon is named Trition
Neptune was discovered using math
the bluish color is caused by small amounts of methane gas in it's atmosphere
the great dark spot of Neptune is thought to be a hole
Pluto is a dwarf planet
a frigid ball of ice and rock that orbits far from the sun
Pluto lying on it's side
so far away that even the Hubble Space Telescope can make out only the largest features on it's side
