In some places in France you can marry a dead person.They replace "I do" with "I did" and they take out "till death do us apart."
In Paris there's only one stop sign.They have a rule "Priht igorit droite," or the driver in the right gets to pass and you have to wait.

Paris is more than 2,000years old.
Paris was discovered on October 4,1958
Also, Paris is the capital of France.
Paris was conquered by Julius Caesar in 52 BC, and exited as a regional center under the Romans and in the early Middle Ages.
At age 5, Louis XIV, also known as the Sun King, becomes king of France.

Paris' official is French , about 88% of the populations language.

When Gustave Eiffel's company built the Eiffel Tower, most recognized monument for the 1889, World's Fair, many regarded most beautiful and famous structure.

A women named Erika La Tour "married" the Eiffel Tower in 2007.
The Eiffel Tower is the most visited paid monument in the world.
1,665 steps are needed to climb all the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Since the French's religion is Catholicism , they celebrate the traditional Catholicism holidays.This includes Easter and Christmas.Victory in Europe Day on May 8 commemorates the end of hostilities in Europe in World War 2.
Bastille Day is celebrated on July 14.This is the day the Bastille Fortress in Paris was stormed by revolutionaries to start the French Revolution.
French Cuisine
Food and wine are central to life at all
levels ,and much socializing is done around lengthy dinners.
Seventy percent of restaurants are using prepared meals instead of the culture , according to The New York Times.
A fun fact is that Potatoes used to be illegal in France between 1748 and 1772 because they thought it'll cause leprosy.

A coffee shop in Paris charges extra if you dont say "hello" and "thank you".
If you say "please" it will cost you $5.85.
If you don't say "please" it will cost you $9.65.
If you say "please" and "hello" it would cost you $1.95.

Designs are elegant, and sophisticated.
Paris is home to one of the largest textile industries in the world.
They work with Haute couture which is tailor made clothing, ready-to-wear, and Lingerie or lace and silk.
Clothing is elegant but until 2012 it was illegal for women to wear trousers.
