Similarities and Differences between "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" and "The Monkey's Paw"
One similarity between the two stories regarding the setting was that they both took place around the 1900's. Both stories also have a character that has some relation with the military. A difference between the two stories was that one took place in England and the other took place in India.
The Sagowlee Contonment was a British military base in Northern India. The story must have taken place when the British had military stations in India. I know this because India became independent in 1947.
