What is gene therapy?
The transplantation of normal genes into cells in place of missing or defective ones in order to correct genetic disorders.

What have we learned about cancer through the HGP?
We have learned how to customize cancer treatment to suit the persons needs and wants.
What new technologies are available due to the information from HGP?
We can transfer Genomes in the body to other people so they can have brown hair.



What genetic diseases have already been identified by HGP?
colorblindness,born without a certain limb(s), deaf, etc
What medical benefits will come from the information gained through the HGP?
We can benefit like we could be taller and do something better than somebody else.

What do genetic counselors do?
How has the HGP benefited genetic counselors?
They counsel a individual so the risk of the gene would happen if its a bad gene then they have to watch out for the gene that could give cancer or other things
By finding more cures for genetic decease and finding more information about genes
