Transcript of Saudi Arabia
Islam is the only religion in Saudi Arabia. People who follow Islam are called Muslims. Friday is a holy day and all of their stores are closed. Muslim people pray 5 times a day. Saudi Arabia is where Muhammad was born and where Islam began.
Saudi Arabia has many deserts.
Rainfall happens only once or twice a year there.
Camels in Saudi Arabia only have one hump. They can store 80 pounds of fat. The fat can break down into energy and water when the camel needs it. They can go 100 miles without drinking water. A thirsty camel can drink 30 gallons of water in 13 minutes---that is 135 liters (over 60 2 liter soda bottles full of water)
