Believing in God Why do some people believe in God? Some people are convinced by arguments 1. The COSMOLOGICAL argument What is the cause of...? 1. Everything has a cause 2. Nothing is the cause of itself 3. A chain of causes cannot go back forever - otherwise we could not reach now. 4. So this change of causes has a beginning. 5. This must be an uncaused cause. 6. This must be God.
