?
Hymenectomy

is a minor surgical procedure that involves removing a hymen as apart of surgery to treat a female disorder.
It is done for many reasons
most of which is due to malformations in female genitalia as: transverse vaginal septum and cervical atresia.

Cyclical lower abdominal pain.
primary amenorrhea in early adolescent years.

1- health education to parents espcially from rural areas about the dicision of hymenectomy and the complications which the female face if they refused the surgery.
2- phsycological support for those females who did hymenectomy to help them facing the community.
