Transcript of An Interview with Premiere Event

An Interview with Premiere Event:
Sunday & Monday
Participants should email us to receive their results from their interview.
If chosen, the participant will come back for further evaluation, and possible enrollment to an event held at Disney World.
Questions & Concerns
Premiere Event's interviews are a great way to get started, and get your foot in the door to many acting and entertainment opportunities. For many of our participants this has resulted in television appearances on Disney Channel, Disney XD, Nickelodeon and film appearances for studios such as 20th Century Fox and Paramount.
100-200 families are seen every couple hours.
Participants range from ages 5-18.
Each participant will be interviewed one-on-one.
Each participant will go on camera for a short commercial, while the family watches.
An exit interview will then occur, where the family will receive a booklet and information on how to receive results from the interview.
What to expect
How long will this take? I thought this was an appointment.
The whole process takes about an hour and a half to two hours. Your child will be interviewed one on one and then perform a short commercial to read on camera.
I have heard you should never pay for an agent.
You're right. We are not an agency. We invite agents, managers, casting directors and labels from all over the world to come to Disney World twice a year to showcase young talent.
How many kids are selected?
We don't have a set amount of kids we select. It really depends on how many come to the interviews, and the talent they show us.
What happens between now and the Premiere Event at Disney World?
You will be assigned a Talent Relations Rep to help you with preparations.
What happens after Premiere?
We have great relationships with our families that have attended. We help them with local resources, help them make decisions about their call backs and follow their progress.
Can't I just sign up for one of your events at Disney?
No. You must attend an interview weekend before attending Premiere Event. If we find that you are a good match, we will extend an invitation to you.
What is the rate of success for the children who attend Premiere Event?
The results of our past 10 events demonstrate that approximately 60 percent of the participants receive callbacks from industry professionals.
Is it a problem if my child has never had any training?
Training is not a requirement to break into the business. The success of reality television and the trend of younger persons performing in leading roles have changed what industry professionals look for in talent. The most important factors are a confident attitude paired with a unique personality and skills.
How will my child benefit from attending Premiere Event?
At Premiere Event, every talent performs in front of top Industry professionals. While many will walk away with representation and job opportunities, everyone will get a chance to experience the realities of the entertainment fashion industries from the inside out. They will also get valuable experience developing stronger interviewing skills and building confidence.
Is everyone accepted by Premiere Event?
No. We are searching for individuals with strong talent and dependability who are interested in the industry. The children and teens that we showcase to industry professionals are a direct representation of our ability to select talent. Premiere Event has a reputation for presenting only the most professional, enthusiastic and talented young performers.
Do I have to pay up front?
Families that are in a position to pay upfront can save themselves hundreds of dollars. Those who choose to go on a payment option, while paying a finance charge, are given the flexibility to manage their finances in a way that will accommodate the family.
Why Should I have to pay to attend Premiere Event?
As parents, we provide our children with the ability to participate in extracurricular activities so that they can learn new skills and gain an enhanced level of confidence while they do something that they enjoy. Attendees who wish to pursue a career in the entertainment industry are provided with tools and contacts necessary to attain their goals in a fun and safe setting. It is our belief that any level of success calls for a foundation of family, education and faith.
We understand you have questions about the process. We have outlined a few of the most common questions families have for us. However, do not hesitate to contact us with any other questions you may have.
