What is an astronauts?
Important astronauts
The most important astronauts that we know of is who is the first man to go to the Moon, who is first to orbit the Earth and who went into space first. Those people are Yuri Gagarin the first man into space and to first to orbit the Earth and Neil Armstrong is the first man to walk on the moon.
Neil Armstrong
Neil Alden Armstrong was an American astronaut who was the first man to walk on the Moon. He was born on 5th of August 1930 and passed away the 25th of August 2012. He went to the Moon with Buzz Aldrin which they spent 2 hours collecting rock samples for the scientist to research and explore the hard, rocky
of the Moon. Neil was also apart of the Gemmi VIII mission which was the first time for the vehicles to
into space successfully and Apollo 11.
Buzz Aldrin
Buzz Aldrin was the second man to walk on the Moon. Buzz was the pilot for the Lunar Module on the Apollo 11. The Apollo 11 was the spacecraft that Buzz had took aboard to go to space. He is still alive now.
Yuri Gagarin
Yuri Gagarin was an Russian
) and he was known for the first man in space until now. He was the first man to travel out into and
around the Earth . He went to space with Vostok

Astronaut - a person that goes into space.

Apollo 11
Neil Armstrong was also involved in the Apollo 11 mission. Apollo 11 was the
to send the first human on the Moon. The spacecraft was
at the Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island on the 16th of July. It has only 3 parts to it which were Command Module, the Lunar Module which was used for landing on the Moon and he Service Module.
