What Does The Flag Mean?
-When the first European colonists arrived in 1500, what is now Brazil was inhabited by an estimated 11 million Indians, living in about 2,000 tribes
-The territory that comprises modern Brazil had a native population in the millions, divided among hundreds of tribes and language groups.

The flag is green, symbolic of Brazil's lush fields and forests. Its primary feature is a large yellow diamond, symbolic of Brazil's wealth in gold, and in its center floats a blue celestial globe
In the center of the diamond is a blue globe with 27 five-pointed white stars. Each star represents one of each of the states in the Federal District, which are arranged in the same pattern as the Brazil night sky.
.There was one very important group, called the Tupi. The Tupi consisted of a few distinct groups, which oftentimes battled against others. Warriors captured in battle that were considered brave and strong would be eaten in a feast, due to them believing that their strengths would be absorbed. The strength absorbed would be then stored and let out during there next fight.
Brazilians were very hostile towards other tribes within Brazil and new settlers, so we believe they would fight against the new settlers however they would not fight cohesively thus dying off from disease and battle
