Friendship Built Through Experiences
-It took a lot of suffering and experiences to bring Piggy & Ralph to realize that fighting alone would be impossible
-Strong foundation of trust was built
between Piggy and Ralph
-Different experiences test all friendships
-A friend is found when you're not expecting
to find one
Definition of a Friend
The Beginning
-Piggy and Ralph had somewhat of a forced friendship
-Both boys very different in looks and personality at the beginning
-Piggy relies on Ralph from the start
-Lots of teasing went on between both
Piggy and Ralph

Alliance is Formed
-Both boys realized they were going through the same things
-Ralph started standing up for Piggy
-The boys and Ralph realized some of Piggy's knowledge was useful
-Ralph became a person of individual thought
-Jack left; the entire group started falling apart
-It was just Ralph, Piggy, and a few boys
-Simon's death, both Ralph and Piggy needed each other for emotional support
-Ralph consoled Piggy for the loses
