Fifth Harmony is an American girl group, between the ages of 16-20, consisting of members Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton and Lauren Jauregui. After ending up in third place on the American version of The X-Factor, the group was signed by Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid's record labels, Syco Music and Epic Records. Their debut single is called Miss Movin' On.
Dinah Jane began singing in her church at age four, while Camila didn't start until the seventh grade. Normani first performed as a dancer at age three and Lauren's public debut came in the fifth grade, where she sang the national anthem for her whole school. As for Ally, who was born premature, she simply says she came out singing!
Karla Camila Cabello Estrabao, born on March 3, 1997who originally auditioned for the X-Factor out of Greensboro, North Carolina. Born in Cojimar, Cuba, she's half Mexican. Camila moved to the United States when she was 6 years old. She did a cover of Skyscraper on Youtube. Sinuhe Cabello, who is Cuban, and Alejandro Cabello, who is Mexican, are her parents while Sofia Cabello is her younger sister. She's known as the adorable and the funny one in the group. She also loves to make a lot of jokes!
Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado, born on June 27, 1996. Lauren Jauregui is from Miami, Florida. She attended Carrollton School of Sacred Heart since 7th grade. She has grown up around a lot of noisy people. Jauregui said: "My family is the most important thing to me. They are my followers who are my loved ones, and are everything to me." Jauregui's audition has over four million views on YouTube. Her favorite artists include Lana Del Rey, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, who inspired her to sing. She's an outgoing person and describes her styles as hipster. Lauren is Cuban-American.
Allyson Brooke Hernandez born on July 7, 1993, commonly referred to as Ally Brooke, is the eldest member of Fifth Harmony. She auditioned for The X-Factor in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Ally was a premature baby.
Ally's dad knew she was meant to sing. Ally is Mexican-American. She absolutely loves to sing, God, and people as well. Her biggest influence is Tejano music legend Selena, saying: "She is my favorite artist of all time. Loved her so much." "What I liked was his sweet spirit, cheerful personality."
Normani Kordei Hamilton,born on May 31, 1996, is an American singer originally from Atlanta. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, until the arrival of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Hamilton sings and dances since four years old. Her main musical influences are Aretha Franklin, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Hudson. She considered herself as a singer of Soul and Gospel until she was incorporated in a girl group. Hamilton has won a number awards and honors. .
Dinah Jane Hansen Amasio, born June on 22, 1997, is the youngest member in Fifth Harmony. Born and raised in Orange County, California, Dinah lived in a 4-bedroom house with 23 other people. The eldest of 15 grandchildren, she has parents of Tongan, Samoan, Fijian and Danish descent. Hansen was exposed to music at an early age. Her mother remembers the first time she heard her sing "Happy Birthday" at only 4 years of age. She sang the National Anthem in public at age 7 in Sacramento, California. Since then she has been singing at various events in Orange County, California.
