Prototype and Test
Introduction
Giorgia, a student in search of greater autonomy,
needs a way to be taken into consideration by potential employers
because in 99% of cases employers don't notice her
Pretotyping
Test
"Giorgia" tested the two ideas: the first one as a paper pretotyping, the second with a preview on a laptop. This is what she founded.
Problem Statement
Main Idea
Practical
[personally] contact those in charge of recruitment
Favorite
seek information as much as possible about the companies that she would like to work with (what is the company's vision, what is looking for...)
Disruptive
have a reference letter from a respected consultant company
Thinking about it, I decided that the favorite one is a premise rather than being an idea.

So, I focused on the other two (practical and disruptive).
REVENGE!
"His visionary stubbornness led him [Don Quixote] to interpret reality through different eyes. He will then begin to exchange giant windmills with the rotating arms, puppets with demons, the flocks of sheep with enemy armies. He fights these imaginary opponents resulting always soundly defeated"
"The "mad" knight shows the reader the basic problem of existence, that is, the disappointment that human beings suffers coping with reality, which cancels
the imagination, fantasy
his expectations
the realization of a project of existence with which man is identified.

Don Quixote Revenge
The platform name was created by transforming the famous character from tragic hero to hero's revenge
Where does the project name come from
we are all familiar with Don Quixote

A web platform in which each member can receive all the job listings available.
With proper filters determined by the user (companies or tags) you can:
a) firstly see what are the vacant jobs in that moment
b) apply for: both through a self video presentation of 3-5 minutes and by attaching the resume (and related links on the web)

The key element of this platform is the video presentation.
Each candidate can be seen (via webcam or otherwise) by the potential employer
Don Quixote Revenge
How it works

Talented professionals already established are requested to take care of an unemployed. In a limited period of time (3 months?), the unemployed person may:
- spend 7 days working together with professional
- have the professional guidance on how to improve her skills, knowledge... and so on.

The key element of this idea is the need of the best professionals to pass on the tricks of the trade to the emerging youth. Nearly a way to avoid the mistakes made in the past and get the young people to move forward with less difficulty.
Activate an unemployed adoption
Don Quixote Revenge + Adopt an unemployed
If you are a professional with at least 30 years of experience, this is your chance!
Can you remember when you were starting out in your career? How many locked doors did you find ?
How many mistakes you made just for candour?

In addition to your merit, who has helped you to become an excellent professional?

Today you can be the one that will be remembered as the master who gave birth to a new talent.

What to do?
Connect to this site: iCareyouth.com and fill out the form "adopt an unemployed person."
Within a week, you will be contacted by an unemployed person with characteristics relevant to your industry.

For three months, you will be his reference.
At the end of the period, you'll write a reference letter specifying the qualities that you found it on him.

The web platform is very interesting above all for the fact that you can see what are the vacant jobs in that moment about companies you decided to follow (everything in one place). The "self video presentation" could be a problem. She said: "My camera is low quality therefore the resulting image would be unjust"

What could be improved?
"the overall interface design"

Questions?
"Does it really exist?" "Are you going to develop it?"

Activate an unemployed adoption

What worked [or not]?
"The idea is good, but I do not think that there are professionals willing to take the lead. Why should they stick to a similar initiative? The only sense of gratitude is not enough to adopt an unemployed. I think that this idea would not work at all "
Activate an unemployed adoption

What can be improved?
"The idea of adoption is very similar to the tutoring ... Is it not better to talk about mentoring? "
What you learned by testing your prototypes?
I learned to put my pride aside: I did a lot of effort to let see a so ugly prototype. The surprising aspect is that I enjoyed it as a game.
What you would do next if you were to continue working on the project?
I would go back redoing the prototype with an interface more attractive. I would also add other functions not provided for in the initial phase.... and of course I would do the test again, although this time would try also other people who are in the same situation
