Course Goals: SENIOR PROJECT
Complete paperwork requirements for the Senior Project.
Conduct effective research which results in the formulation of a strong analytical argument about their Senior Project topic (second semester).
Apply strategies for effective oral presentation of their Project Experience.
Course Goals: LITERARY EXPERIENCE
Develop skills at examining a variety of works of literature through fundamental "Literary Criticism" lenses.
Master the skill of using text-based argument in support of a conclusion or assertion about a text.
Employ collective inquiry, active listening, and effective speaking to better comprehend literature.
Course Goals: COMPOSITION
Compose for a variety of purposes in a variety of forms.
Demonstrate awareness of rhetorical structures and their function to a reader.
Increase audience awareness by demonstrating the ability to anticipate the needs or attitudes of their reader.
