What is a Prism?
A special type of solid with two parallel bases which are congruent polygonal regions. The prism is named according to its bases.

Segments which are formed by the intersection of faces SUB TOPIC
Vertices
points of intersection of the edges CONES SUB TOPIC

Its base is a circular region
Vertex is a point that lies on the line perpendicular to the plane of the base at its center
Altitude is a segment joining the vertex to the center of the base
Slant height is a segments joining the vertex to a point on the circle which bounds the base
