By Cindy Shi Surveillance Cameras We should have surveillance cameras because they keep our society safe. Traffic Cameras Traffic cameras help watch crime on the roads and highways Tickets Cameras can catch drivers that are not following rules Accidents Cameras can video tape what happens during car crashes. Crime Cameras have helped police find criminals for many, many years. The Boston Marathon Bombing Security cameras around the explosion helped investigators figure out who the bombers were. James Bulger Even back in 1993, there were security cameras.
Police used the cameras to look for the kidnappers.
Jon Venables and Robert Thompson were caught. But... "It's a violation of privacy!" Security Cameras in the Public The cameras aren't following people. You are already watched by other people there.
