student should work on homework. If the
homework cannot be completed in the allotted
time, the parent simply writes a note and the
topic will be re-taught.

Homework Policy

Elementary students will be self-contained unless it is determined that they will flip for Math and Reading (possibly 3-5).

Middle school students will switch classes for all academic subjects. Middle School students will have the opportunity to receive up to five high school credits in Math, Science and Foreign Language.

The Principal will determine the appropriate schedule for students.

STEM Education transforms the typical teacher-centered classroom by encouraging a curriculum that is driven by
problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning, and requires students to actively engage a situation in order to find its solution.
All students benefit from the STEM program because it teaches
independent innovation and allows students to explore greater
depths of all of the subjects by utilizing the skills learned.

Taught in a private-school atmosphere where character, integrity and honesty are an integral part of the students’ education.

Our Curriculum!

Formative assessments are directed at providing immediate feedback and evidence of student performance.

Research suggests that students need opportunities for both practice and invention. Studies show that when students discover mathematical ideas and invent mathematical procedures, they have a stronger conceptual understanding of connections between mathematical ideas.

Research suggests that students who develop conceptual understanding early perform best on procedural knowledge later.

Focusing instruction on the meaningful development of important mathematical ideas increases the level of student learning.
