Nelson Mandela's work fulfills...
Community: The Call To Family and Community because his work was about giving the black people the right to participate in all parts of human society (political, religious, economic, educational etc.) Mandela fought his whole life to help everyone have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Why I Think He Responded The Way He Did
Mandela knew that the blacks were being unfairly treated. The blacks weren't allowed to do many things with that the whites could do such as education, basic human dignity rights such as using public rest rooms, access to food and water etc, political, economics, religious etc. Nelson Mandela believed that everyone was equal and that everyone deserved the opportunity to reach their full potential. Nelson Mandela knew that there was severe consequences to what he was doing but he still did it because he cared about what he believed in and in the end the apartheid with the help of Nelson Mandela.

Nelson Mandela fought to end the Apartheid in Africa, the apartheid was a system of racial segregation in South Africa that the National Party (NP) governments enforced, they were the ruling party from 1948 to 1994.
Mandela was part of the African National Congress (ANC) when it was banned in 1960
In 1961 Mandela had an idea to set up a military wing within the ANC to fight back
In June 1961, the ANC executive considered his idea on the violent tactics and agreed that those members that wanted to join the military wing were free to do so
In 1962, Mandela was arrested and sentenced for five years for hard labour
In 1963, Mandela was found guilty for trying to overthrow the government by violence and was sentenced for life imprisonment

because he showed positive and important behaviour toward the black people and tried to change what was happening because it wasn't fair how they were being treated. He knew there was significant punishments for acting against the government and for sabotage but he did it anyway because he was willing to sacrifice his life to make other peoples lives better.
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was born in Transkei, South Africa on July 18, 1918
His father was Hendry Mphakanyiswa of the Tembu Tribe
Nelson Mandela was educated at University College of Fort Hare and the University of Witwatersrand where he studied law
He joined the African National Congress in 1944 and was part of the resistance against the ruling National Party's apartheid policies after 1948
Was arrested in 1962 for leaving the country without a passport and incitement.
June 1964 he was sentenced to life imprisonment for sabotage.
In 1993, the then president F.W.de Klerk and Mandela were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
On April 27th 1994 the first multi-racial election was held.
On May 10th 1994, the ANC (African National Congress won the election and with Mandela being the leader of the ANC, he became South Africa's first black president.
In 2009, Mandela's birthday, July 18th was declared "Mandela Day" to promote global peace and celebrate the South African leader's legacy
Mandela died at his home in Johannesburg on December 5, 2013, at age 95

because he recognized that the blacks were not being treated as equals and that was unjust. Mandela worked toward ending the Apartheid and making the Africa and the world fair and equal to the black people.
Equal rights was one of the biggest things that Nelson Mandela influenced. Nelson Mandela was one of the key people in the civil rights movement in South Africa. He also influenced other countries across the world to enforce equality. Because of Mandela's work black people in Africa and the rest of the world have equal rights as any other race and they are living happier lives because of him. He also made South Africa a democratic country, which it wasn't prior to his efforts. Also Nelson Mandela influenced the many people to stand up for what they believe and help make the world a better place. Because of Nelson Mandela and his efforts millions of people across the world have better lives because of him.

Solidarity because Mandela tried to create a friendship between all races and nations because it is the basis for a just world. Solidarity is based on the understanding that at all people are part of the same human family, whatever their nationality, race or ethnic was. Mandela fought to make people realize that we are all the same and we all were made as equals by God. Through his work he worked with many famous people to draw attention to injustice in Africa and other parts of the world. Some of his famous friends were Princess Diana, Bono of U2, Prince Charles, Celine Dion and so many more.

because he understood that the whites were wrongly treating the blacks and he found a way to help end it. It took great wisdom to know what to do to end help the apartheid. Examples of his wisdom are when he was on trial he showed his great wisdom by showing his great skills as a speaker and breadth of vision. By doing those things he emerged as the ANC's most valued figure and leader.
