Advanced Classes:
We will go by recommendations for advanced classes from your child’s current teachers in English, science, and math. If you have questions about those recommendations, please contact that teacher.
World Language
In order to qualify for 8th grade world language, students in 7th grade Advanced English must achieve a B or better in both semesters of English.
Students in 7th grade regular English must achieve a A- or better in both semesters of English.
Students must also achieve a B or better in composition.
Students must pass the English portion of the ISTEP.
Resource Class Period:
This class may replace another class.
Reading/Math/English Labs:
Students that did not pass the English &/or Math section of the ISTEP or score low on reading assessments may be required to take one of these labs.
Labs may replace another class or River Time

Please bring your elective choice home to show your parents. Changes to your elective choice must be emailed to Mrs. Mott before June 1st!!

Yes, there is a MSA within our school. This club is formed by our own students and everybody could get involved! The MSA focuses on sharing values and experiences within the association and among the student body.
The What About Me Club raises awareness for mental health, self-esteem and discrimination. The club focuses on building the confidence of the students. Contact Mrs. Murdoch in Room 2020 for more information!
