Responding to the geography of discontent
There is not doubt that the place that we come from has a bearing and direction on the place that we are going to. I spent four months on a bike asking people a simple question:
what is life like here?
OECD impact in overall Brexit digital conversation (23/06-23/12)
How do we fare?
impact evaluation
Turning algorithms into our advantage
How do you get to the top?
It doesn't just happen.

The launch of the report raised a number of questions:
- did we select the
best venue
?
- did we opt for the
best vehicle
?
- did we define our
target audience
?
- did we aim for the
most effective media
?
- did we appeal to
people's emotions
?

Digitally naive

Citizenship in the Digital Era
Freedom of speech vs. Freedom to lie ?
Individual vs. Collective Responsability?
Studies show that “noisy” and “loud” are the key techniques to pin the readers down and shape their opinion.
But whatever is viral is not necessarily true and whatever is true is not necessarily viral. Speculation on information is very dangerous: misinformation and digital wildfires are some of the greatest challenges of our time.

Vincent Hendricks, Director of Centre for Information and Bubble Studies, University of Copenhagen

2017
The march of technology--affecting, for example, the foods we eat, the medicines we take, and the many appliances we use in our homes--has increased the difficulties of the consumer along with his opportunities; and it has outmoded many of the old laws and regulations and made new legislation necessary.
