What is the MSL?
MSL Curriculum
Design Your Course of Study:
The MSL degree develops practical legal skills for scientists, engineers, and medical professionals through exposure to regulatory and legal structures.
MSL study is available on a full-time or part-time basis
The degree can be completed in 9 months of full-time study
Part-time students have up to 4 years to complete the degree
The MSL: Innovative in Content and Approach
What is the MSL Program?
The Master of Science in Law program provides focused, practical, business-centered legal training.

A one-year master's degree with a curriculum that clusters in three areas: intellectual property & patent design, business law & entrepreneurship, and regulatory analysis & strategy.

The MSL equips its graduates with the knowledge and skills to navigate the intersection of business, law, and technology/science.
A comprehensive educational experience, the MSL uses hands-on instructional approaches, including:
Flipped classrooms
Team-based projects
Interactive web content
Company-based narrative case studies
Clinical work
Guest lectures
In-house incubators
Field Placements
The MSL uses a variety of hands-on instructional approaches, including:

Timeline
Full-time: 9 months
Part-time: 1.5 - 4 years
