Transcript of Carbon oxygen cycle in the tropical rain forest

Carbon oxygen cycle in the tropical rain forest
The strangler is a plant in the Tropical Rainforest. The strangler makes its own food called glucose(C H O ) in the process of photosynthesis. In the process of photosynthesis plants give off oxygen. The plants use the carbon dioxide to make oxygen and glucose. The chemical formula of photosynthesis 6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2. The sun gives the plants energy to do the process of photosynthesis. The plants need water (H O) and sunlight to grow and do the process of photosynthesis.
Combustion is the process of burning fossils fuels. A form of combustion is the usage of chainsaws while cutting down trees. During the process of combustion carbon dioxide is released, which is used for photosynthesis. People should stop cutting down trees because when they cut them down there will be less oxygen for us and to much carbon dioxide.
Cellular respiration
sunlight energy
Cellular respiration happens when an animal breathes out. An animal in the tropical rain forest is the Toucan. When cellular respiration happens we give off carbon dioxide. The bad part is, is that if it wasn't for plants there would be too much carbon dioxide. Which leads to climate change.
Decomposition is when things decompose. In the tropical rain forest things decay very quickly because it is very hot and moist. When things decay carbon gets returned to the soil.
