What makes the pattern unique is that no one has never seen a spider with a happy face on it's back
What makes think that the pattern is unique is that in the text it says scientist think the spider developed the strange marking to warn predators such as birds
Some scientist think that the spider may have developed these strange makings as a way to warn predators,such as birds.However not all scientist agree on this theory.some believe the features may do nothing to help the spider avoid it's enemies.
It helps because when it is on the underside of the leaf it can't be spotted by the lime light.It makes it difficult for scientist to find the spider
