Transcript of Surah Al Imran Ayah 133-136

Ayah 133-136 Surah Al- Imran What's the meaning? Ayah 133 What does the Ayah say? And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous. The Characteristics of people with Taqwa 1. They spend their time, wealth, and energy (for the sake of Allah) in times of ease and in times of hardship/difficulty. Ayah 134 Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good; This ayah urges us to be fast/swift in asking forgiveness from Allah(swt) Allah loves the good-doers So in the end, Allah loves people who do good. Ayah 135 Ayah 136 And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember Allah and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah ? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know. Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow [in Paradise], wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers. 2. They restrain/swallow their anger, and maintain self control. 3. They forgive/pardon people lovingly, even though they had the capability to punish. Forgiveness/mercy of Allah is the key to paradise. Then Allah explains the visualization of Jannah, which is prepared for the righteous. This word is the root of the "good"
that is said in the end of this ayah. (doing utmost good) Ehsaan is doing the "above and beyond" of good. meaning
"the good-doers" People of Taqwa make make mistakes Categorized in two different sinning This word means anything that would lead you to zihna. (anything shameful) "or wronged themselves", meaning any other sin. (ex. cheatling, stealing, lieing.etc) (ex. looking at a non-mehram man, filthy language, etc) How do people of Taqwa handle their mistakes? 1. They immediately remember Allah (swt). 2. Then they sincerely ask for forgiveness 3. And they don't insist on their sin. Meaning, they don't get addicted to that sin.(they don't commit that sin intentionally again). Allah (swt) says in this ayah... The reward for those people, is the reward of forgiveness. (the key to jannah) Then, they will live in Jannah FOREVER. :) And Allah (swt) ends this ayah by saying," An excellent reward for the hard (righteous) workers. Lesson Learned We should strive in hard work (doing ehsaan) in order to get the "excellent reward".
