In 1992 and 1996, Los Angeles County voters approved Proposition A, including two taxes on real estate, creating the Regional Park and Open Space District (RPOSD). along with

YEARS OF DEDICATED LOCAL GRANT FUNDING TO PROTECT AND MAINTAIN NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS, OUTDOOR SPACES AND WATER RESOURCES & BEACHES.
