Organizing monthly "Letter Writing" days after school to write to family, friends, and local businesses for donations.
Three "overseers" who are in charge of three captains that each have their own responsibility and group of committee members
Holding monthly meetings with captains to discuss how much money was raised each month and discuss what to improve.
Fundraising
Throughout the year hold bus loop sales, coin drives, selling candy and wristbands.
In march host our very own Mini Thon

Recruit at least 100 volunteers by March to take part in our Mini Thon
To make a difference in the families of children suffering from pediatric cancer.
Making a difference in our community and having a positive impact in others' lives
Feeling a calling to give back the blessing of not having a serious illness to others who do
Knowing the feeling of helping children with serious illnesses and wanting to continue to help more in bigger and better ways.
An organization for families battling childhood cancer, and providing emotional support and financial assistance, along with raising awareness.
History:
An organization started at UTSA by the Leadership Challenge Class of 2009.
Originating at Penn Sate University, an annual dance marathon (THON) as well as monthly actives were held by students to raise money for the children battling cancer in their community.
To ensure the continuation of this organization and broaden it to not only our school but throughout the entire district.
