Stewardship Worldview
Stewardship Worldview
The Stewardship Worldview assumes we have an ethical responsibility as humans to be caring and responsible managers, or stewards, of the Earth.
Stewardship Worldview
Stewards encourage environmentally beneficial forms of economic growth and discourage growth that will harm our environment.
Stewardship Worldview
They believe that the success of the human race depends on how well we are able to manage the Earth's life support systems for our personal benefit and the other organisms and ecosystems on the Earth.
Planting Trees
Coastal Clean Ups
Strategies
In the Stewardship Worldview you give back, clean and manage the environment. They are many ways one can help and give back such as coastal clean ups, planting more trees and buying local fruits and vegetables.
`
Another way stewards give back is by planting trees. Organizations like Plant A Tree USA are dedicated to planting trees to give back and help keep our air clean. They are dedicated to planting trees because it "will make up for" the pollution due to our daily activities that are harmful to our environment, such as driving instead of biking. There are websites such as www.50waystohelp.com
that tells people many different way they can be stewards and give back to our Earth
You can give back and manage the environment by doing things such as Coastal Clean Ups. Organizations such as the Ocean Conservancy were created to specifically stop this problem. In their 2012 International Clean Up they collected over 10 million pounds of trash on our nations coastlines.
