Prime Factorization
To find the prime factorization of a number there are multiple steps. First, take your number, write it. For example 24. Second, put two lines down and write factors under them like 12 and 2. Then, put 2 lines down from the composite number and 1 from the prime and put 2 more factors for the composite and repeat the steps until you have only prime numbers.
Partial Quotients
The partial quotients method is for division. First, you think of a number close to the dividend. Second, get how many of the divisor it is. then write it on the sides and put the thought number under the dividend. Third, subtract the number you wrote under the dividend by the dividend.Third continue this until your final number is under the divisor. Last, add the numbers on the side to get the quotient.
