Woodrow Wilson was born on December 28, 1856. He was born in Staunton, Virginia.
His wife died the first year he became president. In 1909 he cheated on his wife but, she did not really care! Ten years later he suffered his second serious stroke. After that stroke, he was seriously hurt for the rest of his life.
When Woodrow was young his nickname was Tommy because his real name was Tomas Woodrow Wilson.
Woodrow went to Princeton University, John Hopkins University, Davidson College, New Jersey College, and University Virginia School of Law. He studied the laws at University of Virginia. He earned his Ph.D. in political science and history at John Hopkins University.
His mother's name was Jessie Janet Woodrow, and his father's name was Joseph Ruggles Wilson. He had 3 siblings and when he grew up he had 3 daughters.

Wilson led America through World War One. Also, he created the Federal Reserve. Last but not least, he sighed the 19th amendment, allowing women to vote.

Woodrow died at the age of 67 on February 3, 1924. He died from old age. Also, he was buried in the Washington National Cathedral.
