Transcript of Exploration robots

Robots that explore Exploration robots the first exploration robots where made to explore the moon. the first of these were sent by the soviet union in 1959 to take a picture of the dark side of the moon. but the first three landings were made by Ranger 7,8,and 9 each of which took a series of rapid pictures before being destroyed on impact with the moon. The First Exploration Robots The Purpose Of The Robot Its multiple purposes Sensors And How They Work Advantages And Disadvantages Job Careers That Using The Robot Creates Impact This Robot Has On Other People Exploration robots can go places and do things that humans can't, and therefore are very good for exploration. One secondary purpose of exploration robots is to check if places are safe for humans to go to. Another purpose of exploration robots is to do things to explore that humans can't like taking samples of things in places that are unsafe to humans. Video The definition of sensors: "a mechanical device sensitive to light, temperature, radiation level, or the like, that transmits a signal to a measuring or control instrument." Sensors tell robots information about their surroundings so that they can react accordingly Sensors are important to tell robots what to do and how to do it. Some advantages of exploration robots are: Some disadvantages of exploration robots are: Robots can help humans explore things that where not possible to explore before. Robots can let us know if areas are safe for humans or not Robots can take a long time to develop Most robots are expensive to make/buy/design Exploration robots can create a wide range of jobs from building and designing, to programming and debugging, to testing and resolving problems. Some jobs exploration robots create are: robot design, programming, wiring, ideas and problem solving, testing and improving, controlling the robot, analyzing data gathered from the robot, recovering the robot, etc. This robot can have a huge impact on everyone because when exploration robots explore things, they open new possibilities like living in a different place or discovering that a certain animal is safe or creating new jobs in an area that wasn't possible before.
