Numbers and Face
The face of the clock has the numbers through 12 in order.
The Hands
Most clocks have two hands. The long hand is called the hour hand. The short hand is called the minute hand.

How the Hands Move
It takes the hour hand 60 minutes or one hour to move fromone number to the next. It takes the minute hands 60 minutes or one hour to move all the way around the clock.
