Leukemia is a cancer of the blood cells, its start in the bone marrow, and the bone marrow starts making abnormal white blood cells.

The most common Translocation in adults is Philidelphia chromosome, this is a swap between chromosomes 9 and 22.

ALL cancer is caused by the swapping of DNA between chromosomes leads to the formation of a new gene BCR - ABL, this gene will start to produce protein "tyrosine kinase", this protein will causes uncontrollable white cell growth.
