Like someone who has survived a gut-shot, the wound had been closing, closing -braiding into a scar for eight long years.”

Novels, considered under the realms of prose which is a one of the subdivisions of literature, are long narrative works of art. It comes in volume and usually depicts a story that is portrayed by a diverse line of characters. The story is often fictional and the plot is supported by the series of actions acted by the characters. I think the presence of novels spells how the richness language and the ingenuity of one’s mind work hand in hand with each other. Through reading this kind of prose fictional piece, one can sharpen his or her vocabulary and widen his or her knowledge because novels do not only serve as an entertainment but an educational tool. I believe that over the time, the novels that we have had before compared to present have various differences. But the sole essence of extending knowledge to the readers is held intact with its purpose and these changes. Swing low sweet chariot
Comin’ for to carry me home,Swing Low Sweet Chariot
Comin’ for to carry me home.
I looked over Jordan, an’ what did I see,
Comin’ for to carry me home,
A band of angels comin’ after me,
Comin’ for to carry me home.
If you get-a dere befo’ I do,
Comin’ for to carry me home,
Tell all my friends I’m comin’ too
Comin’ for to carry me home.
Draw me to Your side.
And as I wait
I'll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the power of Your love.
Lord unveil my eyes
Let me see You face to face
The knowledge of Your love
As You live in me.
Lord renew my mind
As Your will unfolds in my eyes
In living every day
by the power of Your love
Songs are in one way or another akin to poetry. They have stanzas, where in other cases these stanzas do rhyme and have measurement. However, unlike poetry that is intended to be read or declaimed, these songs are actually written compositions intended to be sung. Moreover, these are actually short in length. Songs do have tempo and melody that range from soft like lullaby to hard like rock songs. Basically, these songs have hidden message or apparent meaning per se. The use of songs can be dated back during the prehistoric times and the perusal has different functions. Through songs we can express what we want to say and manifest what we want to do. Anyone is capable of creating songs or lyrics. However, I strongly stand with the notion that we must be careful with the words that we’re going to use for it can be a deadliest tool to harm others. Little Lamb, I'll tell thee,
Little Lamb, I'll tell thee.
He is called by thy name,
For He calls Himself a Lamb.
He is meek, and He is mild;
He became a little child.
I a child, and thou a lamb,
We are called by His name.
Little Lamb, God bless thee!
Little Lamb, God bless thee!
Poetry is the other subdivision of literature and is contrast to prose. Poetry as opposed to prose has metric and rhyme. Some variations of poetry vary from poetry with rhyme without measurement or poetry with measurement without rhyme or poetry which doesn’t possess both two criteria. Like songs, poets also utilize this literature to express themselves such as their feelings, emotions and mood.
I actually envy those who use flowery words to produce one great and meaningful poem. It’s not that I don’t know how to make one but I must say I don’t know how to use as flowery as those we studied in school. Poetry is consisted or divided into stanzas with each stanzas consisting of lines. This kind of literature is, for me, an elusive one because it is hard to grasp the meaning with just one glimpse. For me, I need to read poems like twice or more to understand fully what the poem means. I find it challenging though. Though it’s hard to fathom, I know through a profound discernment of each word and lines, I can understand the meaning of a certain poem. But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate. . .we cannot consecrate. . .
we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead,
who struggled here have consecrated it, far above our poor power
to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember,
what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.
I hope that any of my friends and colleagues, or former colleagues, who are affected by the political reconstruction, will make allowance, all allowance, for any lack of ceremony with which it has been necessary to act. I would say to the House, as I said to those who have joined this government: "I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat." Speeches are written piece intended to be spoken aloud or delivered with relevant emotion and eloquence according to what the situation (event) demands. Usually we hear speeches during opening ceremony, closing ceremony, speeches on wedding, birthday, graduation, death service and other occasion where one needs to express something important, valuable and relevant to the event. Just like I said, it depends upon the event where these speeches are to be delivered. The size or length doesn’t matter as long as the brevity of the speech speaks the totality of its aim. One factor in order for this speech to be delivered effective is the person itself who will deliver the speech. He or she must be well informed with the speech and he or she must delivered it with passion and emotion so the listeners can know that what he or she is telling them is somewhat out of sincerity and earnest feelings. Nothing in his life
Became him like the leaving it; he died
As one that had been studied in his death
To throw away the dearest thing he owed,
As ’t were a careless trifle.
Have no fear of robbers or murderers. They are external dangers, petty dangers. We should fear ourselves. Prejudices are the real robbers; vices the real murderers Plays are written works intended to be acted or spoken aloud. It can be accompanied with music making up a musical play or performance. Plays are usually performed in a theater or working stage with actors or actresses playing a particular role. Actors and actresses need to enunciate their lines articulately for the audience to understand the whole play.i love to see plays because its gives me the feeling that music, voice of actor or actress and script matches perfectly to show their feelings or what are they trying to send message to the audience and by watching the play, you can follow the feelings of how the play (script) goes. "No matter how prosperous a man was, if he was unable to rule his women and his children (and especially his women) he was not really a man." "As you grow older, you'll see white men cheat black men every day of your life, but let me tell you something and don't you forget it-whenever a white man does that to a black man, no matter who he is, how rich he is, or how fine a family he comes from, that white man is trash.

Our culture mirrors our way of behaving. It is the sum of our custom, tradition, practices, language and even ways of living that defines a person. People are bestowed with different cultures. And I hope this should not the source of discrimination and prejudice over one another. We are to respect whatever cultures we have and be very careful with handling with them. It may not define the holistic aspect of a person but I think culture can, in one way or another, contribute to the character of a person. But when you're deprived of it for a lengthy period then you value human companionship. But you have to survive and so you devise all kinds of mental exercises and it's amazing.

"And so the lion fell in love with the lamb..." he murmured.
I looked away, hiding my eyes as I thrilled to the word.
What a stupid lamb," I sighed.
What a sick, masochistic lion."

"She said it over and over under her breath: 'free, free, free!' The vacant stare and the look of terror that had followed it went from her eyes. They stayed keen and bright. Her pulses beat fast, and the coursing blood warmed and relaxed every inch of her body." "What do you mean by yowling in that ere kind of style, like a cattymount?" said a fourth; and hereupon I was seized and shaken without ceremony, for several minutes, by a junto of very rough-looking individuals. They did not arouse me from my slumber -- for I was wide awake when I screamed -- but they restored me to the full possession of my memory. A short story, as what the word implies, ‘short’ is a short narrative prose which is kind of the same with novels. However, the story and the length are short enough to be read and finished in just a couple of hours. The story is supported by the series of actions and an array of characters. Short stories usually pose moral lessons that can be found after reading the whole story. This is one of the functions of short stories, others include entertaining, motivating and inspiring.because of short stories i learned alot of moral lesson and this are the reason why i love to read short stories.

p.s im not book worm
i like short stories because of its short and it have alot of moral lesson that can be thought.

As Gregor Samsa awake one morning from a troubled dream, he found himself changed in his bed to some monstrous kind of vermin.” The narrator says this about how Gregor found out he was a bug.

If you want your life to have impact, focus it! Stop dabbling. Stop trying to do it all. Do less. Prune away even good activities and do only that which matters most. Never confuse activity with productivity. You can be busy without a purpose, but what's the point?

Why are we motivated to read some books? Why, sometimes even without reading the summary of the book, are we excited to start reading it? If I have to give one answer for these questions, I would say it’s all because of the theme. Sometimes, I read book not because of the story that awaits me but because of the theme the story revolves. The theme engulfs the totality of the story. It may pose the superficial expectation of what to anticipate upon reading a book. The story will revolves around the theme and theme will be manifested in the story. Samples of themes of the story that are most-read are love, forgiveness, salvation and others.

Behind the beautiful stories, articles or works of any magnificent book is the power of the mind of an author. Authors are the one who convey their thinking, thoughts and ideas to us [readers] through their published works like books. It takes a great mind with a great skill to write such an exhaustive tool for us to digest and absorb.I like to Thanks them who honed our minds that nothing is impossible in making a good book- we just only need to persevere and feed our minds. Authors are responsible for the whole book they published. Pride and Prejudice I have no wish of denying that I did everything in my power to separate my friend from your sister, or that I rejoice in my success. Towards him I have been kinder than towards myself.

Pattern Settings are the places where a particular plot occurs. It is where most of the actions of the stories took place. It is one of the elements of the story and is important to the story itself. It gives information to the mood of the story and gives detail to where the story took place. This setting is a factor in making a story. One has to consider the setting for it will give definition to the whole story. In a month he would have been my husband.
In a month, here, underneath this lime,
We would have broke the pattern;
He for me, and I for him,
He as Colonel, I as Lady,
On this shady seat.
He had a whim
That sunlight carried blessing.
And I answered, "It shall be as you have said."
Now he is dead. Thank you for watching!!

The end...
